She has her Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University. degree in English and a minor in French she is also fluent in French. She often volunteers at nonprofit organizations that foster confidence and success in young women living in under-served communities. In addition to meteorology, Magee enjoys being active in the local community. In 2006, she became a weather anchor at AccuWeather in State College, PA and in 2008 at the New York FOX affiliate WNYW-TV. She later joined KBAK-TV in Bakersfield, CA as a reporter, weekend anchor and weather anchor for four years. Magee’s news career started at ABC affiliate KDUH-TV in Nebraska as reporter and weekend evening anchor in 2001. Magee also demonstrated her journalistic versatility by hosting a variety of entertainment and lifestyle shows while at the station. She also covered the impact of Superstorm Sandy and its devastation on Philadelphia, Delaware and New Jersey. AccuWeather has local and international weather forecasts from the most accurate weather forecasting technology featuring up to the minute weather reports. While covering a wide spectrum of weather conditions, she guided viewers through extreme conditions. In 2009, she reported on the Nor’easter, the biggest storm that year. Prior to NBC4, Magee worked at WPVI-TV in Philadelphia for 11 years as a weekend meteorologist. In addition, Magee is often featured in NBC4’s public service announcements that help raise awareness of a number of causes in the region. The program examined the evolution of the civil rights movement in Los Angeles, racial inequality in healthcare during Covid-19 and spotlighted athletes who have taken community advocacy roles in Southern California. Since joining NBC4 in 2020, Magee co-hosted the station’s “Celebrating Black Excellence,” a 30-minute special in honor of Black History Month. Cam joined the First Warning Weather team in March 2021 after four years at WESHs sister station WTAE in. Before her time at ASU, Krystal attended Highland High School in Gilbert. Krystal attended Arizona State University, where she received dual degrees in Geography with a focus on Meteorology and Climatology, as well as Broadcast Journalism. One of her favorite off-air projects in El Paso was the "Weather Academy", a program that brought her to schools across the region to teach students about weather with experiments and presentations. For four years, Krystal covered monsoon storms, periods of intense drought, and winter weather over the mountains of New Mexico. Krystal’s career began in El Paso, Texas where she was the morning and midday meteorologist for KVIA. She also acted as a shelter and rescue partner at the station, hosting a pet-of-the-week segment each weekend. Krystal was a graphics producer at the station, launching graphics redesigns and augmented reality on-air, which won an Edward R. Krystal also helped CNBC with coverage of Hurricane Dorian in 2019. During her time in the Mid-Atlantic, she covered historic flooding produced by the remnants of Hurricane Ida, devastating Nor’easter snowstorms that left parts of the Delaware Valley without power for days, and tornado outbreaks that spanned from Pennsylvania and Delaware to New Jersey.
